The Wrigley Rides Again!

Following several months of hard work, Ted Young has completed the refurbishment of the 3-wheeled 'dumper truck', the "Wrigley". It has now been transported to the Top Forge Site where it is available for use for ballasting operations and general transportation of materials.

The machine is on loan from Erodatools Ltd of Penistone, but we have ben unable to trace any history or background to the machine which is badged as being manufactured by a firm called 'Wessex Industries'. Fruitless searches of the Internet have now led to us appealing to anybody who can shed light on the Wrigley to let us have whatever information may be available.

Ted has promised to provide some text on the work involved in the restoration. In the meantime, here are few photos showing the completed machine and its 'road test'.
