A Member of the Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies
Based in South Yorkshire, close to Sheffield and Barnsley, our members' interests range from railways and traction engines to machine tools, clocks and boating subjects - in fact anything with an engineering element!
Our passenger-carrying railway is open to the public on Sunday afternoons Easter to November and some Bank Holidays with both 5" and 7.25" gauge steam, electric and diesel trains. We are always pleased to see visitors 'down at the Forge'! We hope this website will give you some idea of what we do and that you enjoy your visit.
